Obituary

Jerry Wayne “Bogie” Vandall  Jr. age 46, went home to his Lord and Savior on March 27, 2023. Jerry was born on June 7, 1976, in Elgin, IL, to his loving parents, Jerry W. Vandall Sr. and Ruth E. Vandall (Cales)

Growing up, he loved riding his dirt bike and playing baseball. He graduated from Harry D. Jacobs H.S., class of 1994. A loving and good-hearted husband, son, brother, and uncle. He loved animals, nature, traveling, and camping in Pure Michigan with his wife. He spent many years as a salesman at Jim M'Lady in Crystal Lake, IL. He worked for Snap-On Tools. He worked for Fabrique Industries as a forklift operator. He then worked for Stryker Medical  as he wanted to change his career path, Jerry found true career  happiness working at Stryker with all of his adored co-workers. Jerry was very much in love with his wife, Mimi. They were together for 17 years. They enjoyed spending all of their time together just enjoying each other and the love they shared. They enjoyed dinners together, camping and adventures that Jerry planned last minute. Jerry and Mimi loved their Rottweiler, "Akila". He enjoyed spending time with her, taking her for walks, and playing with her. He loved eating out with family and friends. He was a lifelong Bears and White Sox fan. Jerry will be missed every day. He will be remembered always. He is at peace and now with his Dad in Heaven. Only peace and perfection forevermore.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Jamiann “Mimi”; his step children Erin, Slade and Miya; his adored grandchildren Armani and Harlyn; his mother, Ruth Vandall (Cales); his sister, Rhonda and her husband, Michael Bowen; his nephews, Brandon (Sarah) , Nicholas , Jacob  (Sami ), and his nieces, Micaela  and Madelyn; his mother-in-law, Eulalia “ Skipper” Morris.

Jerry was proceeded in death by his father, Jerry Wayne Vandall Sr.; his father-in-law, James Morris Sr.; his, brother-in-law, James Morris Jr.

His "Celebration of Life" will be held on Friday, April 7, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM along with Words of Remembrances to be shared at 6:00 PM that evening all at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.

Cremation Private.
