James “Jim” Heneghan, 69, of Pingree Grove, passed away December 20, 2022. Beloved husband of Patty, nee Lunz; loving father of Stacey (Jake) Biehn, Michelle (Edder) Reyes and Thomas Heneghan; cherished Papa of Mason, Gabriella, Benny, Liam and Camryn; dearest brother of Joe (Corinne) Heneghan, Kathy (the late Frank) Joyce, Eileen (Patrick) Mulkerrin and the late Margaret Heneghan; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Jim spent over 40 years in the Banking Industry including time with Northern Trust, Cash Station and BMO Harris - creating many relationships with co-workers turned friends along the way. He cherished the memories made at each location. He was an avid Chicago sports fan of the Cubs, Blackhawks and Bears and spent 35 years as Bears Season Ticket Holder. Additionally, Jim loved to travel with family and friends to North Myrtle Beach, Las Vegas and Florida. He dedicated his life to support and spend time with his family and friends who ultimately meant the world to him. He was loved deeply and will be missed by anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 1:00 PM until time of a Prayer Service to begin at 4:00 PM at Willow Funeral Home, 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin. Interment private. Info., www.anellofuneralandcremation.com or 847-951-9953.
