Gregory B. Mackintosh

Gregory B. Mackintosh age 60, of Cary, Illinois passed away January 2, 2022 in Barrington, IL. He was born in Oak Park, Illinois on June 5th, 1961. The loving son of Gordon and Terry (Russo) Mackintosh.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Jeanine (Nigro) Mackintosh and his loving children, Gianna and Jordan Mackintosh.

Greg was a brilliant, multi-talented, and above all very humble person. Graduating from Duke University with an BS and MS in electrical engineering and Northwestern with an MBA, Greg worked both in infrastructure, business development, and was an exceptional jazz musician/pianist.

Greg was battling Cancer, but remained optimistic, and fought up until the very end.

Family and friends will gather for a visitation on Thursday, January 6th, 2022 beginning 9:30 AM until time of a 10:30 AM funeral Mass to be celebrated at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church 1023 McHenry Avenue, Crystal Lake. Immediate family will follow at All Saints Catholic Cemetery 700 North River Road, Des Plaines, (Please meet at the cemetery office at 1:00 PM).
