Gloria C. Nigro (Suldane) age 98, of Huntley, Illinois passed away at home on November 26, 2022. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on April 8, 1924 to John and Estelle (Weiss) Suldane.
Gloria loved writing poems and letters as well as playing games and working crossword puzzles. She was able to do much traveling throughout the USA as well as Europe throughout her life. Her family enjoyed not only her baked goods but the many dishes she loved to cook. She was an avid reader and always up to date on all the news. But most important she was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be remembered by all as a very loving person.
She is survived by her children, Danita (Tim) Tvrdik, Kenneth (Mary) Nigro and Jeanine Mackintosh; her grandchildren, Dawn (Adam) Mercer, Dale Rotizza, Corban (Courtney) Tvrdik, Diane (Luis) Martinez, Mark Nigro, Paul Nigro, Gianna Mackintosh and Jordan Mackintosh; her great-grandchildren, Easton, Julie, Carmen, Bella, Adrianna, Jamison, Zuzanna, Jedidiah, Willa, Gabriella and Oliver
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Daniel A. Nigro and her son-in-law, Gregory B. Mackintosh.
Family & Friends will gather for a visitation on Friday, December 2, 2022 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 10307 Dundee Rd., Huntley along with a Funeral Mass to be Celebrated at 10:00 AM. A memorial funeral luncheon will follow the Mass.
