Glicerio Maguigad, 90, passed away in Hoffman Estates September 24, 2025. Born December 21, 1934 in the Philippines to the late Jose and Tomasa Maguigad. Beloved and devoted husband of the late Lucrecia who passed away in 2010. Loving father of Shirley (Samson) Campbell, Maribelle, Violet (Rafael) Velez,Grace(Edward) Waugh, Eric (Nizza), Noel (Ilah); caring brother of Romeo (Celia).
He leaves this earth not in silence, but in the echoes of a life well lived, leaving behind 6 children, 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, and a legacy stitched into every heart he touched. His journey here is complete, but his love carries on, lighting the way for all of us.
Glicerio was a very loving man. He immigrated to the United States in the 1960’s and after establishing himself brought his wife and children to the United States in the 1970’s. He worked hard and had a successful career as an accountant for over 30 years.
Join us in honoring Glicerio Maguigad for a time of visitation Tuesday September 30, 2025 from 3pm - 9pm at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Road, Algonquin IL 60102. A Funeral Mass will be held at St Mary Catholic Church in Huntley IL at 10am Wednesday October 1, 2025. A short time of visitation will begin at 9am at the church prior to mass. Burial to immediately follow at Windridge Cemetery in Cary IL.
