Glenn M. Piening

Glenn M. Piening age 80, of Algonquin, Illinois since 1968 passed on May 5, 2022 In Huntley, Illinois. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 7, 1941 the son of Frank and Stella (Jensen) Piening. Glenn grew up in Park Ridge Illinois, graduated high school from Main East in 1959 and worked for Centel Telephone Company for 25 years.
 

He is survived by his 3 sons, Glenn Piening, Eric Piening, Dirk Piening and his brother Ronald Piening. He was preceded in death by his parents.
 

Early on Glenn's greatest passion  was for that of motorcycles. A passion he introduced and shared with his three sons. Later in life his interests turned to his many projects. He was a “do it yourselfer” to an extreme that often baffled the many that knew him. Other interests were spending time with his boys, Australian Shepherds, watching Bears and Packers games, cooking and of course Pepsi .

Cremation rites were accorded privately.
