George Theodore Ranis

George Theodore Ranis, 60, of Elgin passed away peacefully on March 5 2026, surrounded by his loving family. George was born on January 17, 1966 in Oak Park, Illinois. George was the beloved son of Maria May (Ranis) and the late Sam Ranis. He will be remembered for his humor and caring heart for his family and friends. George is survived by his loving mother Maria May (Ranis); step-father Larry May; Brother Steve Ranis; Sister Betty Sarich (Zoran); Nieces and Nephews; Samantha, Ava, Milan, Marina,  Marko and many Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Sam Ranis. Visitation information will be published soon. Visitation will be Friday, March 13, 2026 from 3pm. to 9pm. at the Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., Algonquin Illinois. Burial will be held private.
