George R. Angeletti

George R. Angeletti age 81, of Algonquin, passed away on May 3, 2024 at The Pearl of Rolling Meadows. He was born in Chicago, Ilinois on October 4, 1942 the son of Peter and Marie (Balducci) Angeletti.

George was a proud U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War era. He received the Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and the National Defense Service Medal.

He is survived by his wife, Anna M. Angeletti; his step-son Greg (Marcin Baranowski) Papke; his step-daughter, Grazyna (Dawid) Wyrwas, of Poland; his siblings and many dear friends.

A Memorial Visitation and funeral will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.

A funeral procession will leave beginning at 2:15 PM from the funeral home chapel to St. John Nepomucene Cemetery for a graveside service along with Military Funeral Honors.
