Gay Marie Clark of Algonquin passed away December 5, 2025 at her home. Born December 9, 1950 in Chicago to the late Joseph and Violet Pribyl. Beloved mother of Adam (Paige) Clark and Rebecca (Peter) Sieminski; loving grandmother of Pippa, Cece and Junie Clark and Lucas and Elena Sieminski; caring sister of Matthew Pribyl and Joy Pribyl.
Gay graduated from Irving Crown high school in 1968. She then went on to get her associates degree in fashion. She worked at the Quaker Oats company for 15 years, but left the industry so she could stay home and take care of her two children. Gay was a faithful member to the light of Christ Church for many years, she was a youth group leader, and their number one softball fan. She also belonged to the Algonquin Garden club and the Lake In The Hills/Algonquin food pantry. Gay loved to help others, whether it was helping her aunt Pearl, everyone at church or her children, but most of all her grandchildren. She never showed up empty-handed and wanted to make sure everyone had enough treats and snacks. And she always told everyone she loved them before ending any phone call no matter how long or short the call.
A memorial visitation is scheduled to celebrate the life of Gay Clark January 10, 2025 from 10:00am - 12:00pm at the light of Christ Church in Algonquin. A memorial service will begin at 12:00pm.
