Frances Rita Nelson (Mahoney) age 84, peacefully passed away, with loving family at her side on April 6, 2022 in Huntley, Illinois.
She was born on April 7, 1937 in Lynn, Massachusetts.

Fran was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, and great grandmother, a world traveler, loved lake and ocean life, enjoyed wildlife, and cherished her flowers (hanging fuchsia, geraniums, and lilacs).

Preceded in death by husband Charles T. Nelson, father, Michael Mahoney, mother, Marion Mahoney.

Survived by sons, Edward (Cynthia) Nelson, Steven (Patricia) Nelson. Grandchildren, Derek (Helen Schrock) Nelson, Lynsey (Ryan) Thibodeau, Logan (Kate) Nelson, Alex (Mike Matthews) Nelson, Kyle (Amanda) Nelson, along with seven great grandchildren. Sister, JoAnne Nardone, Brother, Edward M. Mahoney.

Services will be private.
