Fran Saveley Obituary

Frances  J. “Fran” Saveley age 82, of Algonquin passed away at Aperion Care Elgin on June 17, 2021 with her loving family at her side. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 12, 1939 the daughter of the late Lyle and Roberta Lakins and they moved to Carpentersville when she was a teenager.

She married Elmer Saveley on April 27, 1968 and together they had a son Steve was born in 1970. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include her beloved husband and best friend of 53 years, Elmer; her son, Steve and also a son, Dan Wallace; her dear friend, Nancy Nash, of Carpentersville.
 

She was preceded in death by her parents.
 

Fran enjoyed spending time at the Dundee Center playing “ Left Center Right ” game with her girlfriends she had known throughout the years. Member of the TOPS club and at one time was the Queen of Illinois.
 

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd. (one mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.

Visitation will continue on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 9:00 AM until a Time of Sharing to begin at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel.

Burial will follow at Windridge Memorial Park in Cary.
