Elmer Saveley age 89, of Algonquin, Illinois passed away at his home on February 5, 2025 with his loving family at his side.
He was a proud veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He retired from Plote Construction in Hoffman Estates with 20 years of service. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing pool almost every day. The Saveley family would like to extend a special thank you to Raymond Concepcion for his excellent care of Elmer and a special thanks to Arden Rose for their care as well.
He is survived by his is loving son, Steve (Rhonda) Saveley; his step-son, Dan Wallace; his step-grandchildren, Robert (Marilou) Smith, Timothy Smith, Jesse Smith and his dear companion, Carol Frederick.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles Saveley and Earl Saveley and his beloved wife and best friend of 53 years, Frances J. “Fran” Saveley
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel.
Burial will follow along with Military Honors at Windridge Memorial Park in Cary, Illinois.
