Elizabeth Roberts Miller age 61, passed away on November 23, 2024 at AMITA Health Holy Family Hospital in Des Plaines, Illinois. She was born in Fairfield, California on December 4, 1962 the daughter of Albert and Ruth Roberts. She brought love and laughter to those around her. Known for her quirky spirit, Elizabeth had a deep passion for music and was a vocal advocate for the school systems and the arts, believing in their power to shape the future.
Liz graduated from Harry D. Jacobs High School and Judson College, where she began building a life full of creativity and growing her relationship with the Lord. She had a deep love for the Village of Algonquin, being crowned Miss Algonquin in 1980 and also crowned Miss Elgin in 1986 and later serving as the Chairperson for the Public Arts Commission. Liz was happiest when spending time with her grandkids or sharing her singing talent from the stage, where her joy and humor shone brightly.
She leaves behind her three loving sons, David (Kim) and their daughters Addison and Eliana, Daniel (Charlene) and their son Jonah, and her youngest son Dustin. She is also survived by her parents, Albert and Ruth Roberts, as well as her twin brother, Rob Roberts.
Liz’s family and friends will remember her as a loving, adventurous soul who lived life with a song in her heart. Her legacy will live on through the many lives she impacted through her faith in Jesus, her joy, and her compassion.
We will "Celebrate Liz’s Life" on Saturday, December 21, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., along with a Time of Remembrance from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. all at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.
