Elizabeth A. Beckert

Elizabeth A. Beckert (Schramm) age 69, of Algonquin, Illinois passed away at her home on September 4, 2025 with her loving family at her side. She was born in Abington, Pennsylvania on December 23, 1955, the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Weich) Schramm.

She is survived by her husband, James M. Beckert; her sons, Christopher (Lisa Chrzasc) Beckert and Brian Beckert; her grandchildren, Audrey and Benjamin; her siblings, John Schramm, Andrew (Sharon) Schramm and Walter (Patricia) Schramm.

Elizabeth attended Bowling Green State University and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, gardening, and reading. She went out of her way to make those she loved feel appreciated and cared for, always passing along a handmade blanket or making some of her pumpkin muffins. Her thoughtfulness will continue to be a model to those who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until time of a 12 noon service at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin.

Interment Algonquin Cemetery.

Contributions can be made in lieu of flowers to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
