Edward Maciasz age 83, of Sun City Huntley, Illinois passed away on May 31, 2019 with his loving family at his side. He was born in Ostrowsko, Poland on April 5, 1936 to Antoni and Elzbieta (Pach) Maciasz.
Edward served as a proud member of the Polish Military. He worked as a bus driver in Poland and a mechanic while living in America.
Edward was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-grandfather and will be missed by all his friends.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Joanna (Sarota) Maciasz; his loving children, Elizabeth (Zbigniew) Rosinski and Bonnie (Edward) Waxmansky; his proud grandchildren, Jeffrey (Christina) Rosinski, Michael (Meagan) Rosinski, Edward (Karina) Waxmansky, Jennifer (Michael) McGlennon and Stephanie Waxmansky; his cherished great- grandchildren, Michael, Vincent, Barrett, Olivia, Francis, Lucca, Michael, Charlie, Grace, Evelyn, Edziu and Owen; his siblings, Victoria Nowak, Ann (the late Gus) Kozarzewski, Stephanie (the late Bruce) Ventura and Christine Macias
He was preceded in death by his loving patents and his brothers Joseph Maciasz and Casey Maciasz.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd. (one mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.
Visitation will continue on Wednesday morning June 5, 2019 at St. Mary Catholic Church 10307 Dundee Rd., Huntley from 9:00 AM until time of a Funeral Mass to be Celebrated at 10:00 AM.
Entombment will follow at St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum in Niles, Illinois.
