Eduardo A. Valdez Jr. of Carpentersville passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family April 26, 2026. Born in Kyle Texas to the late Eduardo Sr. and Felicitas Valdez August 6, 1944. Devoted husband of Sylvia; loving father of Linda Guzman and Eduardo Valdez; proud grandfather of Mario and Esteban Guzman; caring uncle of many nieces and nephews and fond brother of the late Elida Mireles (Santos Mireles), the late Israel Valdez, Olga Vera (Robert Vera) Anita (late Ricardo) Urbina and Anselmo (late Anastasia) Valdez.
Eduardo was a dedicated, lifelong steelworker and retired from Advanced Steel. He loved spending his time plating flowers and gardening, but above all he cherished the time he spent with his family. Eduardo was also a loyal Chicago White Sox fan.
Please join us for a time of visitation Sunday May 3, 2026 from 4-9pm at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd. Algonquin IL 60102. Funeral Mass will be Monday May 4, 2026 at 11am at St Monica Catholic Church in Carpentersville. Burial will follow at Dundee Township Cemetery.
Friends and family are encouraged to wear White Sox attire to celebrate Eduardo’s love for the Sox.
