Donna Armstrong

Donna Armstrong age 74, of Algonquin, Illinois passed away on September 30, 2021 in Phoenix, AZ. She was born in Marseilles, IL on December 19, 1946 to Frank and Ada Noverio.

Donna was proud to have graduated from St Anthony’s College of Nursing in Rockford, IL and enjoyed her remaining career with United Airlines.

She is survived by her daughter, Melissa (Ryan) Lentz and her grandchildren, Everest and Kingston, who she was very proud of. Donna enjoyed shopping and sipping wine with her daughter and loved golfing with her friends and husband, Dick, who preceded her in passing.  In her later years, she spent winters in FL and always looked forward to visiting her daughter and her family in Oregon.  She most recently moved to Phoenix, AZ to be closer to her daughter but unfortunately never got to enjoy the beautiful sunshine that she was sure to have loved.  Donna taught all of those around her what unconditional love was.  She will truly be missed. 

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at 4:00-5:00 p.m. visitation, 5:00-5:30 p.m. memorial service, and time for sharing 5:30-6:00 p.m. at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills. (please follow director's guidance, social distancing will be observed and face coverings will be required.)
