Diane G. Lacey

Diane G. Lacey (Cortesi) age 70, of Algonquin, Illinois and formerly of Wheeling, Illinois passed away on August 19, 2022. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on April 8, 1952 the daughter of Fulvio and Gladys Cortesi.

Diane held a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She enjoyed working at Two Rivers Head Start Agency as an Executive Director.

She was a strong minded, very witty, with a great sense of humor. A natural born Leader!

Her passion was to help family, friends or anyone who was in need.

She loved the holiday’s spending time with her family playing board games. She has touched so many of our lives and will be truly missed.

She is survived by her son, Joel (Christine) Bloom and her grandchildren, Joey and Mikey Bloom.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Dannie B. Bloom and her husband, Larry Lacey.

There will be no services for Diane. Her family will be mourning their loss privately.
