Denise Michelle Barton

Denise Michelle Barton (Arendt) age 47, of Algonquin, Illinois formerly of Elmwood Park, Illinois passed away on August 19, 2022. She was born in Chicago, Illinois to Dennis and Dolores (Skorcz) Arendt.

Denise attended St. Celestines in Elmwood Park and went on to Elmwood Park H.S. Denise attended The International Academy of Merchandising and Design. Denise worked most of her career at Fellowes in Itasca, IL. She loved Yogi Bear Campground with the endless campfires. She had many loves including her dogs DeDe, Molly, Baby Girl, Sara and Bella. Everyone knows Sara was her true favorite. Halloween was Denise’s favorite holiday. She loved to decorate for the kids school Halloween events, the trailer at the campground and her home.

Denise is survived by her beloved husband, Daniel Barton, her loving children, Hailie and Chase; her dear parents, Dennis and Dolores Arendt; her adoring siblings, David and Maria Arendt, Dan and Rachel Arendt and Darlene and Scott Plesnicar; her in-laws, Judy and Larry Barton; her brothers-in law, Tony Barton and Brad Madison and her sisters-in-law, Lori Madison and Michelle Barton; she was also a loving aunt to many nieces & nephews.

Denise was preceded in death by her grandparents.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills. 

​Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022 with prayers to begin at 10:30 AM from the funeral home chapel and proceed to St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church 111 S. Hubbard St., Algonquin for a Funeral Mass to be Celebrated at 11:30 AM.

​Interment will be held privately.
