Deloris "Dolly" Adamowski

Deloris “Dolly” Adamowski (Rekus) age 94, of Cary, Illinois passed away at Crystal Pines Rehab & Healthcare in Crystal Lake, Illinois on July 8, 2024 with her loving family at her side. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 3, 1929 the daughter of Paul and Pauline Rekus.

She loved crocheting, feeding her family, never missed the opportunity to say the rosary, she loved her dogs, parrot Roberto, shopping & spending time with her grandkids/family.

Dolly is survived by her children, Paul “PJ” Adamowski, Pauline (Daniel Braden) Noé, Henry Adamowski Jr. and Henrietta (Gary Rice) Adamowski; her grandchildren, Sheryl (Ronald Jr.) Crooks, Jennifer (Alonzo III) Noé-Webb, Megan (Andrew) Schulingkamp, Michael Jr. (Sam) Criel, Brian Criel, Emilie Rice, William Rice, Lance Rice, Dawn (Matthew) Schreiner, Jerry Jr. (Jennifer) Kolaski, Joseph (Nancy) Kolaski and Rose (Joseph) Mantucca; her great-grandchildren, Zachary, Skyler, Ava Grace, Liam and an additional beloved nine. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry F. Adamowski Sr.; her daughter, Teri (Jerry) Kolaski; her son, William (Anne) Adamowski and granddaughter, Angel Adamowski.

Visitation for Deloris will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. along with an evening Vigil prayer service at 7:00 p.m. all at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one mile west of Main St.) in Algonquin, where funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.

Interment All Saints Catholic Cemetery in Des Plaines, Illinois.
