Obituary
Deanna Joy Hudson (Van Winkle) age 62, of East Dundee, Illinois passed away on May 3, 2023. at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, Illinois. She was born in Elgin, Illinois on June 30, 1960. Deanna loved spending time with her family and friends, traveling to national parks, reading in the sunshine, having flower and vegetable gardens and even though she said she hated cooking. "Deanna left forever lasting impressions on the many students lives she taught throughout the years".
She is survived by her loving companion, Al Knigge; her beloved sons, Michael (fiancée Megan Schaeffer) Hudson and Riley Hudson; her cherished grandchildren, Jordan and Julian; her dear mother, Peggy Kellum; her loved siblings, Donna (Greg) Lewis, Sandy (Jeff) Curran, Debbie (Ellis) Frost and Angie (Mike) Spencer. Deanna is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Deanna was preceded in death by her father, Charles Van Winkle and her loving son, Jeffrey P. Hudson.
A Memorial Visitation will be held Saturday, May 6, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM along with a Words of Remembrances to be shared at 5:30 PM that afternoon all at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.
