Colton William Gruber

Colton William Gruber passed away suddenly on May 9, 2023 at home in Belvidere. 

He was born August 21, 2022, the cherished son of Marty and Liz (Foster) Gruber. In addition to his parents Colton is survived by his siblings, Kaleb, Maggie, Levi, and Bailey; his maternal grandparents, Steve and Nancy Foster; his paternal grandparents, Marty Sr. and Chris Gruber; his maternal great-grandmother, JoAnn Sullivan, his maternal great-grandmother, Linda and Jimmie Crowe, and his maternal great-grandfather, Willard Foster; aunts and uncles, Shelia Sullivan, Roy and Kathleen Sullivan, Will and Sherry Foster, Mark and Kayla Foster; and his many loving cousins, Alyssa, Faith, Autumn, Hailey, Will, Shey, Gavin, and Jordyn.

Colton was a loving, happy, sweet baby boy. He had a smile that could light up any room. A deep belly laugh that made you giggle right along with him. His eyes always tried to take in the whole world at once. Colton loved being held by his big brother Kaleb, snuggled by his sister Maggie, watching Levi play Dino’s, & watching Bailey steal his bottle. They loved their little brother dearly. Colton will always be remembered for his big bright smile.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 15, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home, followed by burial at Dundee Twp. Cemetery East.
