Cindy Hopper Tymchyshyn, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on October 23, 2024 at the age of 69 with her loving family at her side. Born on May 6, 1955, in Chicago, Illinois, Cindy was the cherished daughter of John and Mildred (Rood) Vertz.
Cindy met the love of her life, Benny Tymchyshyn, and together they shared a beautiful life for many wonderful years. Known for her spirit, love, and wisdom, she cherished every moment spent with her family.
She shared her boundless love by creating a home filled with warmth, tradition, and joy. Family dinners were memorable gatherings, where her homemade borscht and her handmade pierogis were a treasured family delicacy. Cindy was also an avid scrap booker, each page was created with care, capturing the milestones and moments of those she held dear.
Cindy leaves behind her children, Stacy (William III) McFall, Eric (Lynn) Tymchyshyn, and John (Jessi) Tymchyshyn; her grandchildren William McFall IV, Brandon, Nicholas, Jake, Ava, Julia, Cody, Mark, Brad (Jessica), Laura (Sean), Emily and her son-in-law, Matt McCormick. Each of them will carry forward her love, traditions, and beautiful memory.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Benny Tymchyshyn, her daughters, Nicole Martha Tymchyshyn and Lynette McCormick and her son, Michael Tymchshyn; her brother-in-law, Terry (Monica) Tymchyshyn and her grandchild Brenton Tymchyshyn.
Cindy’s love and legacy will forever live in our hearts, guiding her friends and family. As we say goodbye, we celebrate the extraordinary woman she was and the lasting impact she leaves on all who knew her.
A Memorial Visitation to honor Cindy’s life will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM along with an evening service at 7:00 PM all at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care, 1415 Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.
