Christine Ann Churchill

Christine Ann Churchill age 70, of Algonquin, Illinois and formerly of Elk Grove and Arlington Heights Illinois passed away June 9, 2024. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 27, 1953 the daughter of Claude and Gertrude (Bornkamp) Markstrom.

Christine was retired from American Express Financial Service as a project manager. She was also a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Arlington Heights. She was very much into nature and caring for our environment.  In the past she volunteered her time to maintain and beautify the Spring Valley Nature Center in Schaumburg. She also was an avid student of Tom Brown's Tracker School where she learned survival skills and the ancient philosophical of native Americans.

She is survived by her daughter Angela Scharf; her grandson, Trent; her sister, Karen (John) Seehausen. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Memorial Visitation for Christine will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024 beginning at 12:00 PM until time of a 4:00 PM service with Pastor Thomas Sanders officiating all at Willow Funeral Home & Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.
