Christine V. Kolbusz

Christine V. Kolbusz (nee’ Mischke), age 82, of Lake Barrington, Illinois passed away peacefully on Wednesday March 20, 2024 at JourneyCare Hospice in Barrington.  She was born in Chicago, Illinois on October 20, 1941 to Thomas and Alexandria Mischke (nee’ Milewski). Christine was a homemaker and had worked part time for Colman O.E.M. in Crystal Lake for several years. On April 28, 1962 she married Jerry Kolbusz.  She is survived by her three children, Paul (Jennifer) Kolbusz of South Carolina, Gay (Geoff) Pahios of Lake Zurich, IL and Tony (Donna) Kolbusz of Oakwood Hills, IL. Her seven grandchildren, Kali (fiancé Josh Walinski) Pahios, Thomas (fiancée Camryn Dastrup) Kolbusz, Allison Pahios, Garett Pahios, Joshua Kolbusz, Anthony Kolbusz and Matthew Kolbusz, along with many nieces, nephews, and life-long friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry on December 4, 2018, her parents, Thomas and Alexandria Mischke, her in-laws, Emil and Caroline Rogus, her brothers, Fred (Pat) Beresniewicz and Frank (Dorothy) Beresniewicz and her two sisters, Adrienne (Richard) Helminski and Janice (Frank) Barna.
