Cheryl Ann Beseke

Cheryl Ann Beseke age 62, of Algonquin, Illinois passed away November 25, 2023. She was born in Norfolk, Virginia on August 10, 1961 the beloved daughter of Wilford and Marilyn Sue Beseke. 

Cheryl was exceptionally knowledgeable with gardening and all of Gods living creatures. Her primary job was working at Lincoln Park Zoo for many years. There she worked at large mammals taking care of elephants, rhinos, giraffes and many other animals. Later on she moved to the Bird House. She was in her element there taking care of birds and plants. Later on she had her own dog walking business. Cheryl herself had her own garden at home. This flourished with many flowers attracting various birds and insects. For her own animal family, she had tropical fish, birds, cats and dogs.

She is survived by her beloved sister, Lynette (Bruce) Schwarz-Peterson; her loved nephews and niece, Tristan (Therese) Schwarz, Tim (Noelle) Schwarz and Lisbeth Schwarz; her great nephew & niece, Lukas and Arya and also her cherished canine buddy “Twinkles” and her 2 lovebirds.

A Celebration of Life gathering is being planned for the spring.
