Cheri Edwards

Cheri Edwards age 81, of Carpentersville, Illinois passed away on October 21, 2024 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, Illinois. She was born in Ransom, Kansas on September 17, 1943 the daughter of Delmar and Bernice (Gregg) Hagans.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Edwards, her daughter, Kristi (Tracey) Caddell, her siblings, Phil (Roxi) Hagans, Kim (Karla) Hagans and Laura (Robert) Vanaman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Julie Struss her paternal grandparents, Al and Irene Hagans and her maternal grandparents, Roy and Bertha Gregg.

Growing up on a cattle ranch, Cheri loved horses. She "galloped" instead of walking and running. She loved to wear large round braids in her hair. One day her mother heard Cheri calling for help! Cheri's braid was looped over her horse's saddle horn, she was dangling there, and her horse was standing!

Cheri enjoyed collecting dice, horseback riding and horse racing. Cheri was so loved by her family and many friends. She was always happy and smiling.

Visitation for Cheri will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024 beginning at 10:00 AM at Willow Funeral Home. Visitation will begin that morning at 9:00 AM.

Interment will follow to Dundee Twp. Cemetery - East in East Dundee, Illinois.
