Charles "Buddy" Antley Jr.

Charles D. “Buddy” Antley Jr. age 62, of Carpentersville, Illinois passed away at home on June 29, 2024. He was born in Elmhurst, Illinois on August 31, 1961 the son of Charles D. Sr. and Betty Ann (Carlquist) Antley.

He enjoyed wood-working, crafts, planting flowers/vegetables and bonsai trees, Lego building, making model cars and trains, playing video games, watching every re-run of Law and Order and watching Star Wars movies, and collecting anything with the American flag on it. He very much-loved animals, especially his 2 cats and 2 dogs; taking mid-day naps with him and later playing outside. He most enjoyed spending time as a family, whether that meant going shopping, going on a car ride to enjoy the scenery and listen to his music or showing his family a funny Tik-Tok video.
 

Buddy is survived by his wife, Deborah “Deb” L. (Dunkel) Antley; his daughter, Ashley Antley and his son, Casey Antley; his sister, Kimberly Kennedy; his great-aunt, Janet DeLucas; his mother-in-law, Carolyn (Stephen) Krauss; his brothers-in-law, Michael (Kris) Dunkel and Robert Dunkel; he was an uncle of many including his niece, Sydney Dunkel and his nephew Nicholas Dunkel and Zackary Kennedy. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 7, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one mile west of Rt 31) Algonquin, where funeral services will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.

Family & friends will meet on Monday, July 8, 2024 at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery, 17W201 E. Roosevelt Rd., Oakbrook Terrace, IL. 60181. for a 1:00 p.m. Committal Service. (please meet in front of the cemetery office).
