Catherine Dubs

Catherine A. Dubs (Schneider) age 91, a resident of the Clarendale of Algonquin and formerly of Huntley and Buffalo Grove, Illinois passed away on December 17, 2023. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 4, 1932 the daughter of Henry and Katherine (Holz) Schneider. She loved to golf, cook, volunteer and crafting. She is survived by her loving sons, Ken (Debra) Dubs, Rob (Terry) Dubs and Joe (Lori) Dubs; her grandchildren, Kenneth (Erin), Deanna (Vince), Whitney (Chris), Brady (Meghan), Justine, Joey and Ryan (Lacey); her great-grandchildren, Joseph, Matthew, DJ, Hayden, Lilly, Baker, Crew, Kellen and Maverick. Catherine was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander Dubs and her brothers Henry and Joseph Schneider Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023 at beginning 10:00 AM from the funeral home chapel and process to St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Cemetery in Palatine for a prayer service to follow in the Interment chapel.
