Carole Ann Slavik (nee Panico) age 79, of Algonquin, formerly of Rolling Meadows, passed away on August 14, 2022. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 2, 1943 the loving daughter of Victor and Irene (Seraphine) Panico.
Carole enjoyed making her famous pasta sauce for everyone, she never let a person leave the house on an empty stomach. She was also the biggest baseball fan, between watching her grandchildren's games to watching the Chicago Cubs win the World Series. She was always the biggest supporter of loved one’s passions.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert D. Slavik; her loving daughter, Janet (Robert) Marczyk; her cherished grandchildren, Matthew, Joseph and Daniel; her sister, Marilyn (Kenneth) Bellandi.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Vincent Panico.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM along with a prayer service to begin at 7:00 PM that evening at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.
Interment will be held privately.
