Carlos Abrahan Gomez, 40, of Round  Lake Beach, IL. Was called home to heaven on Tuesday,March 3,2026. After a battle with cancer. He is survived by his mother, Santos Herminia Bloom(Huerta Silva)and. Stepfather Gary of Lake Villa IL.Preceded in death by his father Gonzalo Gomez Limon of Yahualica ,Jalisco. Beloved brother of Juan P. Gomez of Round Lake Beach,IL. and sister Marisol (Ruben) Rosales of Round Lake Heights, IL. Loving uncle of Xzaira J. Gomez of AZ.Forever in the hearts of family. Carlos was born on Monday February 24, 1986 in Chicago, Il. He grew up in the west town neighborhood near Ashland and Erie. As a toddler when times got tough his Abuelos Ma Teresa and Abuelo Pa Tan helped raise him in Michoacán Mexico.Family remember the young days as free spirit and always happy. He returned to Chicago and attended Michel school After years of sacrifice the family left the city and bought a house in Carpentersville. He attended Perry Elementary school, Carpentersville middle School and Graduated from Dundee Crown High school. Over the yearsCarlos had many nicknames Carlitos, Charlie and Beanie.He enjoyed traveling, seafood, music and movies. Family and friends remember him as funny and sarcastic. Precious memories is what he left us until we meet again.

Please join us to celebrate the life of Carlos Gomez Saturday, March 21, 2026 at Willow Funeral home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., Algonquin, IL 60102 from 3 PM until 9 PM. A prayer service will begin at 6:00pm officiated by Robert Salinas from V1 Church.
