Brenda Perales

Brenda Perales, age 44, of Algonquin, Illinois, passed away unexpectedly in Germany on November 28, 2022. She was born in Chicago, Illinois, on February 28, 1978, to David and Abelinda Perales.

Brenda worked for Aldi Corporation for ten years, with the last four years as an expat employer in Düsseldorf, Germany as an IT Solution Analyst. While working for Aldi, she completed her Project Management Program (PMP) certification. Once Brenda was in Germany, it allowed her to visit the world. Her best hobbies were traveling and traveling with her family, but her best travel buddy was her daughter, Gabriella.

She is survived by her daughter, Gabriella Marie Leitsch, her spouse, Steve Maxwell; her grandmother, Guadalupe Perales; brothers, Abel Perales Sr; David Perales Jr; her nephews, David Anthony Perales, Abel Perales Jr., and Julian Perales; her nieces, Samantha Perales and Adriana Perales. Brenda was preceded in death by her grandparents, Julian Perales, Carolina Cuellar, and Erasmo Cuellar.

Visitation for Brenda will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one mile west of Rt. 31) Algonquin.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 with prayers to begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home chapel and proceed to St. Monica Catholic Church, Carpentersville for a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m.

Internment Maryhill Catholic Cemetery in Niles.
