Bonita Ann Dasko (née Graf), Co-founder of Park Ridge Auto Body, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by love on September 21, 2025, at the age of 90 in Marengo, Illinois. Born on July 7, 1935, in Chicago, Illinois, she lived a long and fulfilling life marked by deep family bonds and a generous spirit.
Bonita is survived by her sister, Kathleen Mulson; her children, Michael (Donna) Ofenloch, Mark (Cheryl) Ofenloch, Elizabeth (Mark) Bach, Anne (David) Taylor, Shari (Mike) Kelly; daughters-in-law Lenette Ofenloch and Christy Ofenloch; and sister-in-law, Irene Forsberg. She was a cherished Grandma to Matthew (Shawna) Ofenloch, and adored her littlest buddies, Jaxsen and Colt Ofenloch. Bonita was a fond grandmother, great-grandmother, godmother, aunt, great-aunt, and special friend to so many. Bonita was also a special mother to Patricia Jerome.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Grace Graf; husband, Leroy Dasko; siblings and their spouses, Patricia (Alfred) Bychowski, Phillip (Febe) Graf, Richard (Patricia) Graf, and Jon (Judith) Graf; brother-in-law James Mulson; sister-in-law Joan (Robert) Sosnowski; and her children, Lawrence Ofenloch and Grace Ofenloch.
Contributions in Bonita’s memory may be made to JourneyCare Hospice, honoring her compassionate nature and the care she received in her final days. Bonita's legacy of love and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM along with an evening prayer service to begin at 7:00 PM all at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025 with prayers to begin at 10:00 AM from the funeral home chapel and proceed to St. Margaret Mary Church 111 S. Hubbard St., Algonquin for a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11:00 AM.
