Betty J. Kroll

Betty J. Kroll (Paprocki) age 95, formerly of the Jefferson Park neighborhood in Chicago, Illinois passed away on December 7, 2024. She was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 16, 1929, the daughter of William and Catherine (Hanas) Paprocki. She retired from Kemlite Laboratories as a glassblower and later, Walgreen’s. Betty enjoyed caring for her grandchildren, playing Bingo, tending to her garden and was an avid reader. Betty is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Mary) Kroll, Sue (Wayne) Rybarczyk and Julie (Kevin) Cooke; her daughter-in-law, Sue Kroll; her grandchildren, Matthew (Mallory) Rybarczyk, Nicole (Jake) Warzynski, Holly Cooke, Hannah Cooke, David Kroll and Eric (Anita) Kroll; her several great-grandchildren; her sister, Geraldine (Walter) Mrozik; she is also an aunt of many. Betty leaves behind her faithful, furry companion "Pixie". In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis S. Kroll and her son, Steve M. Kroll. Family & friends will gather for a visitation on Saturday, December 14, 2024 beginning at 10:00 a.m. DIRECTLY at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 4646 N. Austin Ave., Chicago, Illinois 60630. A Funeral Mass will follow the visitation at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow to St. Adalbert Cemetery in Niles. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Animal House Shelter, 13005 Ernesti Rd., Huntley, IL 60142 or Vested Interest in K9s. Willow Funeral Home in Algonquin is assisting the family with all arrangements.
