Barbara Pyzyna passed away peacefully in the presence of her family this past Sunday. Although she battled cancer for some time, she never let it slow her down, or stop her from living life to the fullest.
Barb was born in August of 1952 in Elgin, IL. She is survived by her husband James, adult children Jeff, Jamie and Zach Jorgenson, and grandchildren Henry 6, Hudson 4, and her first granddaughter to be born in June. The last years of her life she spent her time doing what she cherished most, caring for her grandkids. She loved them more then anything.
Barb’s endless loving heart and unwavering positive attitude touched everyone she met. Throughout her life, and career at Zurich, her love and positivity created friendships that lasted a lifetime, and beyond.
She was a loving mother of 2, but so many more felt like she was a mother to them. She taught generosity, kindness, compassion, and forgiveness, by living these values every day.
One of Barbara’s favorite sayings was “don’t look back, you’re not going that way”. We can all continue to look, and move forward, because we know she’s out there, patiently and lovingly watching over us.
Keeping in compliance with the current CDC recommendations regarding gathering size (not to exceed more than 10 people at one time) a Celebration of Life visitation will be held on Saturday, April 25. 2020 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd. (one mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.
