Awilda Burgos

Mrs. Awilda Burgos, age 81, of South Fulton, TN passed away Friday, January 7, 2022 at her residence. She was born on November 24, 1940 in Yauco, Puerto Rico to the late Daniel Burgos and Juanita Fernandini.

Awilda was a retired assembler for Cotter Company in Harvard, IL and moved to this area from South Beloit, IL and Carpentersville, IL.

She is survived by her children: Eulalia McCann of Fort Worth, TX, Radames Gutierrez (Georgina Garcia) of Bay Town, TX, Frank Gutierrez (Diana) of South Fulton, TN, Luis Cartagena (Ashley) of Lake In The Hills, IL, thirteen grandchildren: Awilda Rivera of Carpentersville, IL, Esmeralda Rivera Linday of Fort Worth, TX, Alicia I. Gutierrez of Chicago, IL, Radames F. Gutierrez of Chicago, IL, Frank Gutierrez, Jr of New Jersey, Carmen McClintock of Pfugerville, TX, Ryan Gutierrez of Kissimmee, FL, Nelson Gutierrez of Kissimmee, FL, Duncan Cartagena of Lake In The Hills, IL, Jorge Ariza of Hawaii, Mary Castonon of Chicago, IL, Alejandra Castonon of Chicago, IL, Amy Castonon of Chicago, IL and several great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 9:00 AM until time of a 10:30 AM funeral service at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one mile west of Rt. 31.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.

Internment Dundee Twp. Cemetery -East in East Dundee, Illinois.
