Andrew James Berry Obituary

Spankie

Andrew James Berry AKA Spankie was born on Friday April 14th, 2000, to Steve and Sheila Berry at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge IL. Andrew passed away in the early morning of October 1st, 2021, at the young age of 21. He was surrounded by his family and loved ones. He was the most loving sweet boy a family could ever ask for.

Andrew had an amazing look out on life- live hard and have fun doing it. He grew up surrounded by the most amazing people that called him family. He could bring a smile to your face in an instant and with his most crazy antics you never knew what he was up to. He had a passion for the country life and the city life forcing both worlds to collide. He couldn’t resist being around his animals and doing everything he could to show them compassion and love. His most favorite horse Apache Rain gave him the most enjoyment as he loved learning all about horsemanship and taking long rides on her with his family and friends. When Lakota (puppers) arrived at our family, he couldn’t be more excited to teach her all the tricks in the book and proud to show her off to everyone around. But his greatest passion was always taking the time to do anything for his friends and family, If they needed help he was always the first to jump in and help out, As he got older he grew into loving fast cars, car shows, street racing and car meets and didn’t skip a beet tracking down his dream car (50th Anniversary Edition Mustang) Seeing the excitement in his eyes the day he brought her home is something we wouldn’t have missed for anything. Him and his dad always said, “you bought the car, and it came with a speedometer you should use the whole speedometer” and that he did as he proved it time and again as he rattled the windows of every house in the neighborhood sliding around corners and Romping on the gas pedal just to hear that engine Roar over and over. He was always so full of life, sassiness, mischievousness, and most of all Love.

Andrew is survived by his parents Steve and Sheila Berry, his older brother Anthony Patrick Berry, his Grandfather Gary Berry (Paternal) and Grandmother Gloria Lamb (Maternal) along with his Uncles, Aunts and many cousins.

Andrew is preceded in death by his Grandfather Jack Lamb (Maternal) and his Grandmother Roslyn Berry (Paternal).

Andy, we hope that you raced into heaven busting through those gates full throttle showing everyone your true undeniable loving nature and are living freely making an entrance no one will ever forget.
