Alice Mae Willard, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 26, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Born September 20, 1944 in Lexington, Kentucky to the late Billie (Igo) and Earl Robertson. Beloved wife of Joseph Francis Willard II; loving mother of Joseph (Marilyn) Willard III, Misty (Mike) Palazzo and Heather (Milke) Popilek; caring grandmother of Joey Willard IV, the late Aaron Willard, Devin Palazzo, Dylan Palazzo, Claire Popilek, Emily Popilek and Owen Popilek; doting great grandmother of Jojo Willard V. She was preceded in death by her 3 siblings, Roger, Barbara and Geraldine, and her lifelong love, Joseph. Joseph and Alice were married March 8, 1962, and lived and loved for almost 60 years. During those years, they raised a beautiful family, which was the joy of Alice’s life. She had the biggest heart for kids, raising her own and caring for many throughout her life. She had a generous spirit, opening her heart and home to help others. She was a true and dedicated woman of faith, and was an active member of Twin Oaks Baptist Church for many years. Please join us in honoring Alice Mae Willard for a time of visitation on Sunday February 2, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM along with a service to begin at 4:00 PM all at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Road, (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.
