Alice Mae Brandt was born on May 2, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan and passed away on November 5, 2021 in Crystal Lake, Illinois at the age of 66. She made the journey to heaven to be with her Mother, Barbara and sister, Cheryl at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
Alice worked for the Lake in the Hills Police Department for over 25 years, starting from crossing guard, to dispatcher, and finally administrative assistant to the Chief of police. She rarely ever missed a day of work, no matter what, and was very dedicated to her job.
Alice was very creative and enjoyed making crafts and beautiful drawings, she had a love of animals, starting with her horse, KC and ending with her dogs, Takoda and Ayla. She made multiple donations to the ASPCA and other animal related organizations, along with donations to the Wounded Warrior Project and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
She was born May 2, 1955, in Michigan to Barbara & Shelby Key. Alice is survived by her father, Shelby; her children, Renee Laramie & David (Jackie) Brandt; her grandchildren, Paige, Zandria, Quentin, Sam, and Silas; her sisters, Michelle (Bill) Faye, & Cindy.
A Celebration of Life will be held in 2022.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ASPCA or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
