Adela Dorado (Arellano), age 60, of Huntley, Illinois, passed away peacefully at home on September 16, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Born on September 5, 1963, in Peñitas de San Mateo, Valparaiso, Zacatecas, Mexico, she was the cherished daughter of Salvador and Teresa (Del Real) Arellano. Adela now joins her parents, Salvador and Teresa, in their eternal embrace in heaven.
A cornerstone of her community, Adela thrived in the company of her neighbors and friends, actively participating in community gatherings and festivities. Known for her fearlessness, strength, and bravery, Adela’s siblings admired her deeply. Her home was a sanctuary of open-heartedness, welcoming anyone in need, a testament to her ability to see the good in everyone.
Adela delighted her family with her culinary skills, especially her masterful dishes of rice, ribs, and authentic Mexican cuisine. These meals served as an embodiment of her love and generosity, filling both bellies and hearts.
A passionate traveler, Adela found particular joy in returning to her native Mexico. These visits were not just a means of travel, but also a cherished opportunity to deepen her bonds with her siblings and extended family.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Federico Dorado; her loving children, Alfonso Dorado and his wife Elidia, Cesar Dorado and his wife Isamar, Jocelyn Dorado, and Daniel Dorado; as well as her adored grandchildren, Brandon, Victoria, Lucas, and Ceasar Jr. Adela leaves behind many dear brothers and sisters (12), who will forever carry her vivacious spirit in their hearts.
Visitation for Adela will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one half mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.
Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Friday, September 22, 2023 from 9:00 AM until time of a 10:30 AM funeral service.
Interment will follow at Dundee Twp. Cemetery - East, East Dundee, Illinois.

Nacio el 5 de septiembre de 1963 en Peñitas de San Mateo, Valparaíso, Zacatecas, México, fue muy querida por sus padres de Salvador y Teresa (Del Real) Arellano. Adela ahora se reune a sus padres, Salvador y Teresa, en la vida eterna.
Ella era pilar de la comunidad, y prosperó en compañía de sus vecinos y amigos, participando activamente en reuniones y festividades comunitarias. Conocida por su valentía, fortaleza y coraje, sus hermanos la admiraban profundamente. Adela deleitaba a su familia con sus habilidades culinarias, especialmente sus platillos tipicos como el arroz, costillas y auténtica cocina mexicana. Estas comidas servían como un reflejo de su amor y generosidad, llenando tanto estómagos como corazones.
Una viajera apasionada, Adela encontraba un gozo particular en regresar a su México natal. Estas visitas no eran solo un medio para viajar, sino también una oportunidad apreciada para profundizar sus lazos con sus hermanos y familia extendida.
Le sobreviven su amado esposo, Federico Dorado; sus amados hijos, Alfonso Dorado y su esposa Elidia, César Dorado y su esposa Isamar, Jocelyn Dorado y Daniel Dorado; así como sus adorados nietos, Brandon, Victoria, Lucas y Ceasar Jr. Adela deja atrás a muchos queridos hermanos y hermanas (12) quienes llevarán para siempre su espíritu vivo en sus corazones.
