Teresa DiLenge Obituary

For 60 years the world was a little brighter because Teresa Valerie DiLenge was in it. The middle child of 7, she always referred to herself as a peacemaker and lived up to that title in every way. She cared deeply about everything. Everything. She cried at sentimental coffee commercials and signed every Facebook petition and shared every posting of a lost dog a friend asked her to. Her prayer lists were always a mile long, and she made sure everyone in her life knew how much she loved and appreciated them.

Her official profession was a secretary than a home maker, but truly she was an artist and a writer. She wrote stories for her daughters as they grew. Her sketchbook became the source of many a masterpieces.  Her creativity knew no bounds. She wasn’t afraid to see the world in a different way.

She was a woman of strong faith. She always said that earth is just a temporary home before returning to the kingdom of heaven. She spent her last day with us on April 12th, 2019.

She was proceeded in death by her beloved brother Robert (Bobby) Anderson and father-in-law James DiLenge.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 38 years, Robert J. DiLenge. Her two daughters Mary T. DiLenge and Diana M. DiLenge.

She also leaves behind her parents Mary G. Anderson and Robert C. Anderson. Her Mother in law, Ann P. DiLenge. Her 5 sisters, Marilee Gallagher, Diana Anderson, Patricia (Larry) Purcell, Colleen (Micheal) Anderson, and Judy (Thomas) Gebavi. Her brother-in-law James (Olga) T. DiLenge.  As well as her many nieces and nephews, countless friends and her beloved pets.

She will be missed fiercely and deeply.
