June 26, 1963 ~ December 17, 2017 (age 54) 54 Years Old

Robert “Bob” William Hendry, 54, passed away December 17, 2017.  Beloved husband of Julie, nee Plunkett; cherished father of Blake and Taylor; devoted son of the late William and Elizabeth Hendry and son in law of Connie and Frank Plunkett; loving brother of the late Richard (Tammy) Hendry and brother-in-law of Laura (Jay), Mary Ann (Mike), Andy (Amy) and the late Linda and Frank (Sue); dearest uncle of Ricky, Monica, Lindsey (Roel), Allison (Jim), David, Kristie, Max, Erica, Nicole, Trevor, Brooke and Britt.  He also dearly loved his pups; Cody, the late Charley, and Stevie.
Bob loved spending time with his family, riding his Harley and driving his classic cars. He worked for Air-Rite Heating & Cooling as a foreman for over 30 years. He was a master griller and enjoyed listening to classic rock as well as country music. Bob was well known for his dedication and love for his family. Beneath his tough exterior, he was a humble, kind and sweet loving man that was always willing to help. He kept everyone laughing with his quick-witted sense of humor and had the best one liners. Bob will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of Bob’s life will be held on December 30, 2017 at the Holiday Inn, Crystal Lake (800 S Illinois Route 31, Crystal Lake, IL 60014)
