Marlene Angeline (Olas) Hogel

Marlene Angeline Hogel (Olas) age 81, of Algonquin for 40 years, passed away on January 5, 2019.

She was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 16, 1937, the beloved daughter of Henry E. and Angeline (Sneig) Olas.

She married the love of her life Joseph E. Hogel on June 2, 1957.

Marlene is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Joseph; her devoted children, Joseph (Judy) Hogel, Steven (Kim) Hogel, James (Tracie) Hogel and Scott Hogel; her cherished grandchildren, Joey, Derek, Tyler, Madison, Julia, Nick and Sam; her proud great-grandson, Tyler; her brother Daniel Olas.

She was a loving aunt to Dan, Tom and Laura. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM that evening at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.
