Maria Olson

Maria Olson, born in Choryszow, Poland on August 29, 1934, to her loving parents Pioter and Wiktoria Presz, and most recently from Marengo, IL, passed away on December 18, 2018, in her home surrounded by loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth, her parents, sister and 5 brothers. She is survived by her 6 children: Zenon (Cheri) Zdany, Rick (Sharon) Zdany, Chuck (Julie) Zdany, Clarence (Jacki) Olson, Diana Sweigert, Robert Olson; her step-children, Ken (Fran) Olson, Nancy Muller and Carol (Steve) Canale, 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Willow Funeral Home 1415 W. Algonquin Rd. (one mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.

Visitation will continue on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 9:00 AM until time of a 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Moncia Catholic Church, 90 N. Kennedy Dr. (Rt. 25) in Carpentersville.

Interment will follow at Mt. Emblem Cemetery, Elmhurst.
