Judith "Judi" Elizabeth (Kelsey) Lederer

On Wednesday, January 16, 2019, Judith “Judi” Elizabeth Lederer (Kelsey), loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother, passed away peacefully at age 69 with family at her side while listening to her favorite Beatles tunes.

Judi was born on February 24, 1949. On June 26, 1982, she married Dennis Lederer. They raised two sons, Blake and Tyler, in Algonquin. Judi’s passions included being a mother not only to her kids, but anyone who wandered through the front door, being a crossword aficionado and puzzle-maker, singing for all to enjoy, and later being a fun, adoring grandma. Her other loves included her puppy, Charlie, and many, many cats.

Judi was preceded in death by her father, Bernard Kelsey, and her mother, Katherine (Funk). She is survived by her husband, Dennis, her children, Blake (Kerry) and Tyler (Mandy), two grandchildren, Landon and Ava, three sisters, Berna Kay, Sauni, and Patti, one brother, Michael, and many loving nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, January 21, 2019 from 12 Noon to 2:00 PM at the Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Road (one mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills. Reception to follow at D’Andrea Banquets, 4419 Rt. 14, Crystal Lake.
