John Burke Obituary

John F. Burke age 71, a resident of Lake in the Hills, Illinois for 30+ years, passed away on October 9, 2019.

He was born on December 13, 1947 in Manhattan, NY the son of John and Mary Burke.

John was a proud United States Marine Corps Veteran serving during the Vietnam War era.

He was also a proud member of the Lake in the Hills American Legion Post #1231.

He is survived by his children, Johnie Decker and Matthew (Jasmine) Burke; his grandchildren, Gabrielle, Lexus, Johnathan, Angelina, Madeline and Jaxon and his former wife, Kathryn Burke.

Please join his family for a Celebration of Life Memorial gathering tomorrow afternoon, Saturday October 12, 2019 beginning at 12 noon until time of a Military Funeral Honors Tribute for John at 4:00 PM at the Lake in the Hills American Legion Post #1231 Hall, 1101 W. Algonquin Rd., Lake in the Hills.

Cremation rites were accorded privately.
