Glenn & Kathryn Cardelli

Glenn E. Cardelli, age 58, and Kathryn L. Cardelli (Pfaender), age 57, of Minocqua, WI, formerly of Algonquin, IL, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 13, 2019.

Glenn and Kathryn are survived by their two children, Nicholas and Alexis Cardelli; Glenn’s father Norman Cardelli; Glenn’s siblings: Linda Thornton, Russell (Mary) Cardelli, Susan (Gary) Mcdonnell, Steven Cardelli, Sharon Cardelli, Craigg (Denene) Cardelli; and Kathryn’s sibling, Janet (Ken) Guess. Preceded in death by Glenn’s mother Marilyn Cardelli; and Kathryn’s parents, Elwyn and Donna Pfaender.

Glenn was born on August 29, 1960 in Oak Park IL. He graduated from H.D. Jacobs High School in 1978 and worked as a contractor for 35+ years, building over 100 homes in Chicago’s Northwest Suburbs. Glenn had an infectious sense of humor and enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling, and waterskiing.

Kathryn was born on March 17, 1961 in Normal, IL. She graduated from Fremd High School in 1979 and worked as a realtor, as well as a professional framer and photographer. Kathryn was the most thoughtful individual, always gifting to others her handmade crocheted items, preparing home cooked food for all, and was a world class athlete.

Glenn and Kathryn met April 9, 1983 in Pompano Beach FL, and were happily married for 31 years.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM with a Celebration of Life at 4:00 PM at Willow Funeral Home 1415 West Algonquin Road, (one mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin IL, 60102.
