Edward W. Mozul, age 76, of Algonquin, Illinois passed away on March 13, 2019 at Clarendale of Algonquin, with his loving family at his side. Ed was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 14, 1942 to Edward and Irene (Bukrajeski) Mozul.
He was a proud veteran of the United States Army and worked as a Machinist for many years, then owned his own business installing and repairing garage doors. Ed enjoyed golfing with his father, bowling with his wife, fishing and target shooting. And an avid card player up until his last days. He had a special love for and many memories at their family lake house and spending time with his wife, daughters and their families.
He is survived by his loving wife Hertha A. (Gebler) Mozul; his daughters, Nicole (Joe) Raclawski and Sheryl (Matt) Pauwels; his grandchildren, Colin and Maddie Raclawski and Ashlyn and Ellie Pauwels; a sister Arline (David) Shouldice; and special uncle to Kim, Jenni, Stephanie and Mike and many great nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, March 22, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Military Honors presentation under the auspices of the U.S. Army at 6:00 PM that evening at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd. (one mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills. Interment will be held privately.
