Delores "Dee" (Reed) Gibbons

Delores “Dee” Gibbons (Reed) age 76, of Del Webb Sun City, Huntley and formerly of West Chicago, passed away on September 30, 2019.

She was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 16, 1943 the loving daughter of Frank and Irene (Fisher) Reed.

She is survived by her 3 beloved children, Wayne Gibbons, Deborah Silberbauer and Michelle Fitzgerald; her 6 cherished grandchildren, Jason, Joey, and Brittney Silberbauer, Joshua (Amy Invergo), Jonathan and James Fitzgerald; her proud 5 great-grandchildren, Jay, Rose, Ali, Shelly Fitzgerald and Jacob Brown Silberbauer.

She is also survived and loved by her many dear friends in the Del Webb Sun City Community.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loved grandchildren, Jason and Joseph Silberbauer.

Dee loved pets, sewing, making dolls and baking.

A visitation for Dee will be held on Friday, October 4, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd., (one mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.

All are asked to gather on Saturday, October 5, 2019 for a Funeral Service to begin at 1:00 PM directly at Light of Christ Lutheran Church, 100 Hanson Rd. in Algonquin, Illinois.

Cremation rites will be accorded privately. A private family cemetery service will take place at a later date at Acacia Park Cemetery in Chicago, Illinois.
