Deborah Sobolewski

Deb Sobolewski, age 64, of Crystal Lake went to be with the Lord on March 8, 2019  at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois with her loving family at her side. She was born in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania on August 24,1954 the loving daughter to Edward C. and Anna R. Sobolewski.

Deb is survived by her son, Jim (Julie) and daughter, Lisa (Paul) and six grandchildren, Grace, Christian, Faith, Abigail, Rylan and Callan. She is also survived by her sister, Frani (Rob) and Brothers, Fr. Ed "Jay" and Dan (Margaret); preceded in death by her sister, Anna Marie "Cookie" (Joey); she is also also survived by many nieces & nephews.

Deb's life was full of love for her family, for her causes, and most of all, she lived by faith.  Her deep love for the Lord was expressed through her vibrant worship, her devotion to prayer, and her fervent study of the Bible.  Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy, Deb was a frequent presence at school, church and sporting events in support of her grandchildren's pursuits.  She was always willing to go out of her way when someone was in need of a hand, an ear, or a hug. 

Friends are invited to gather for a visitation with Deb's family on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Memorial Service at 7:00 PM that evening at Willow Funeral Home & Cremation Care 1415 W. Algonquin Rd. (one mile east of Randall Rd.) Algonquin/Lake in the Hills.

Private burial will be held at Old Saint Casimir's Cemetery in Shenandoah Heights, Pennsylvania, date is pending.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Deb's memory to Home of the Sparrow or the American Belgian Malinois Rescue.
